knots

I lose the thread often

– sometimes it’s intentional.

in the container of loose ends

– everything catches.

long held promises that didn’t hold

depreciate in value

– show up in the disappointment of others.

an accountant could write them off.

did you know that ravel means unravel?

detached.

tangle and untangle live as precarious neighbours

in the infinite land of unfinished business.

just because

loose ends

doesn’t mean

you’re fraying

does it?
